As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, George has become a recognized expert in the area of wealth transfer planning and business succession planning.  George has done extensive work in estate and family liquidity planning as well.

George has focused a significant portion of his career on privately held and family owned enterprises, helping them to manage their decision making process in the development of wealth transfer and business succession plans that are congruent with their goals and objectives.  George has a real passion for families and understands that the challenge is to position the family's wealth in such a way that it does not divide the family members or does not create an incentive for the future generations to be non productive citizens.  With over 40 years of experience, he has seen that the real threat to the family and the family's assets after Mom and Dad are gone comes from within the family unit.  George has learned that effective communication and affirmation at the patriarch and matriarch level is crucial to sustain a healthy and successful family long term.

George's credits include writings in several business publications.  He has been quoted by numerous publications, including the Wall Street Journal.  George is a frequent speaker at professional conferences nationally including CPA conferences, legal groups, construction industry conferences and real estate related conferences.   He is recognized by his peers and clients for his fresh approach in managing the complexities of life's wealth.

George is a 1971 graduate of Mississippi State University.  He is actively involved in many civic and religious organizations around the country. Locally, George serves on the Mississippi Board for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He is very involved in his local church, First Baptist Church of Kosciusko, Mississippi.

George was born and raised on his family’s farm in central (Sallis) Mississippi.  George and his wife of 41 years, Patricia, have raised their four children on the same family farm.  They now have seven grandchildren and are expecting more.
